We put together a great bid to Coastal Communities in 2016 for community landing stages that unfortunately fell at the final hurdle due to oversubscription. We successfully implemented planning permission and a marine licence with thanks to the Harbinson Trust and intend to take positives from this bid and source alternative funding. The increasingly young population on Kerrera currently have no access to services after 6pm and pontoons would open up a host of opportunities for both work and leisure to the islanders.
